Are your prices including VAT?

Where stated, yes — the rate card figures include VAT. Your itemised quote shows the VAT line explicitly, so the number you approve is the number you pay. No service-fee surprises appear after the fact.

How are groceries billed?

At cost, with receipts attached to the final invoice. For chef services the quote estimates the grocery line up front; the settled invoice shows actuals. We never mark up ingredients.

Is gratuity included?

Accepted Answer

No, and it's never expected on top. If you'd like to tip the team, we're happy to suggest a range — but the published price is the whole price for the quoted scope.

What are the minimums?

Dinners carry a R3,900 minimum invoice; braais a R5,500 minimum (or 6 guests); canapés start at 20 guests; corporate at R10,000 spend. Minimums are shown on every rate-card row.

How does travel pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Three published zones: Zone 1 (metro) included, Zone 2 R300–500/day, Zone 3 R500–800/day plus staff accommodation after 22:00 finishes. The travel line appears on your quote before you commit.

Do you offer winter rates?

Yes — June to August runs roughly 8–10% below the card on villa chef rates and selected packages. Ask on WhatsApp and the discount appears as a line item, not a handshake.

How can I pay?

EFT or card payment link against your itemised invoice. A 50% deposit locks the date; the balance is due 10 days before the event. Weddings follow a 50/25/25 ladder.

How long is a quote valid?

Fourteen days from issue. Festive super-peak quotes (26 December to 7 January) are valid for 48 hours because capacity is genuinely fixed — we say so in the quote itself.
