WEDDINGS — VILLAS

Villa Wedding Catering — Intimate Weekends, 20–80 Guests

A villa wedding is a dinner party that happens to have vows in it. We cater the whole weekend in your own kitchen, garden and pool deck.

Villa wedding catering in Cape Town for intimate weekends of 20 to 80 guests — Camps Bay, Clifton, Constantia and the Atlantic Seaboard. Long-table and family-style formats, mobile kitchen support, and an all-in quote covering chefs, waiters, rentals and travel. from R795 pp per person.

The short answer

Villa wedding catering in Cape Town for intimate weekends of 20 to 80 guests — Camps Bay, Clifton, Constantia and the Atlantic Seaboard. Long-table and family-style formats, mobile kitchen support, and an all-in quote covering chefs, waiters, rentals and travel.

The villa is the venue, the accommodation and the after-party. That intimacy is exactly what our format is built for: your people around one table, with restaurant-level cooking happening quietly in the background.

Formats that suit a villa

Small rooms and big views change the menu. Plated formality works under a marquee on the lawn; family-style works better on a terrace at golden hour. We'll walk the property with you — or your planner — and match the format to the space.

  1. 01The Long Table: one table down the garden or terrace, family-style platters, candles low — the signature villa format.
  2. 02Plated Garden Reception: a plated three- or four-course under a stretch tent, full waiter service, speeches between courses.
  3. 03The Fire Weekend: welcome braai on arrival night, reception on day two, recovery brunch by the pool on day three.

Villa operations, handled

Villas weren't built as venues, so the operational questions matter more than the flowers. We answer them at the site visit, not on the wedding day.

Included

  • mobile kitchen rig where the villa kitchen can't carry the menu — induction, ovens, prep and plating stations
  • power and water capacity checks, plus a load-shedding plan with generator backup where required

Quoted separately

  • rentals beyond our standard kit, marquee or stretch-tent hire, Zone 2–3 travel
  • venue hire and villa booking — that's between you and your villa host

Body corporates, curfews and neighbours

Atlantic Seaboard villas often sit in sectional-title schemes or tightly held streets. Body-corporate rules, noise curfews and parking limits shape what a villa wedding can be — we plan service around them and brief you on the questions to ask before you pay a villa deposit.

In practice that means earlier amplified-music cut-offs, discreet load-in and load-out, and a service timeline that keeps the celebration inside the house rules. Intimate weddings are naturally good at this: eighty guests make memories, not complaints.

Packages for villa weekends

The same three published tiers as our estate weddings — Vineyard family-style, Estate plated with canapés, and Signature four-course — scaled to villa guest counts and priced all-in. Most villa weekends land on Vineyard or Estate.

Prices include VAT where stated. Public-holiday and festive multipliers are published on our pricing page, and December dates carry a stricter deposit ladder shown to you in writing before you book.

Where we cater villa weddings

Camps Bay and Clifton for sunset terraces under the Twelve Apostles. Constantia for garden estates with vineyard edges inside the metro. The rest of the Atlantic Seaboard — Bantry Bay, Fresnaye, Llandudno — for privacy and wind-sheltered coves.

All of these are Zone 1, so travel is included in your per-person price. If your heart is set on a Winelands estate instead, our Winelands weddings page covers estate logistics, season windows and travel zones.

One practical note on timing: on the Seaboard in summer the sun sets late, so we plan the reception around golden hour rather than a fixed clock — photographs first, first course as the light drops. Your coordinator builds that into the service timeline at the site visit.
